Enter your video in the 2022 Hometown Media Awards!

If your video played on CAN TV in 2021, you can submit your video to the 2022 Hometown Media Awards, a national competition for public access community producers – individuals and organizations.  The Hometown Media Awards is established to honor and promote community media, community radio, and local cable programs that are distributed on Public, Educational and Governmental (PEG) access cable television channels.

Categories include entertainment, sports coverage, documentary, racial justice, performance, and many more.  A panel of judges from the industry evaluate the entries.  Awards are presented to the most creative programs that address community needs, develop diverse community involvement, challenge conventional commercial television formats and move viewers to experience television in a different way.

The submission period for entries is January 6th – March 7, 2022.

The annual Alliance for Community Media (ACM) conference will be held in Chicago this year so you can easily attend the awards ceremony on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
