CAN TV’s mission is simple but urgent: to empower diverse voices through hyper-local storytelling that leads to real change.

Your financial gift makes it possible for CAN TV to provide free- or low-cost digital literacy training, equipment, and facilities to hundreds of Chicago residents and non-profit organizations. Proudly showcasing the diversity that makes Chicago a world-class city, CAN TV delivers more than 140 hours of original, hyper-local programming each week. 

During this week of giving, we aim to raise $25,000 to expand our transformative Youth Voice Digital Literacy and Storytelling Program. Through our partnership with Chicago Public Schools, this program provides young Chicagoans with opportunities to hone their skills in storytelling, digital literacy, and media production. These future leaders are learning to use storytelling as a powerful tool for self-expression, creating documentaries, series, and specials that shine a light on the critical issues facing Chicago's youth.
